Malini Parthasarathy shows the way to Suhasini Haider

Now, we all know that Hindu Editor Malini Parthasarathy has been suffering from a pathological hatred of Modi. I first became aware of this Mameluk when she tweeted the following:

malini1

What? First of all, Modi speaks extremely well in at least 2 languages: Gujarati and Hindi. And he is definitely capable of conversing in English, even if he feels slightly uncomfortable, much like the vast majority of Indians out there. Our nation recognizes at least 22 languages and English…to suggest that someone must speak all these 23 languages in order to be eligible to be India’s PM is nuts. If you inclide various dialects, the total number of languages spoken in India may be in excess of 500! What are Sonia ji’s linguistic abilities? Oh but then the Dynasty is ruling India as a birthright, Modi is here to earn it!

Well, Mameluk Parthasarathy was severely slapped by the electorate in May 2014, but she clearly didn’t learn her lesson. Anyone remember the fracas over German language last year? Smriti Irani was rock solid on the facts when she pointed out that the National Language Policy does not allow for German to be taught as a third language in schools, only as a foreign language. At that time, the Dynastycrook ecosystem went into overdrive claiming that the Modi government was making India “less competitive”. First of all, it is hard to imagine anyone’s career being ruined for not knowing German…lol. And secondly, these SAME Dynastycrooks were up in arms earlier this year when the Fadnavis government in Maharashtra refused to recognize Madarsas as schools unless they teach math and science! Apparently, German is compulsory for children today to survive in the global marketplace, but math and science are optional!

Side note: We know that most journalists failed both Math and Science. It is highly likely that they decided to become “journalists” and “intellectuals” at the exact moment when they received their Class 6 marksheet with the letter “F” in red ink in the columns for Math and Science. Knowing how Indian parents are, they probably got beat up that day. They are now taking out their anger by protesting Math and Science in schools.

Well, this fracas resurfaced when German Chancellor Merkel visited India last week. Whenever Modi stands with his backbone straight, shaking hands as an equal with a white skinned world leader from a developed country, the haters go mad with jealousy. And hence, this tweet from Suhasini Haider:

They messed with Smriti Irani again. And she struck right back: first she cleared the facts:

Well, that’s exactly what the National Language Policy is: you can teach German, French…anything as a FOREIGN language, just not as a “third language”. Heck, any Commies still living in 1970s Soviet era can teach Russian too! And then came the smackdown from Smriti Irani:

What do you expect from an alleged journo after a smackdown like this? The victim card, of course: so what if they lied? It is still “rude” to point out the lie, is it not?

What did you expect Suhasini? I know *exactly* what you expected. You expected this lie to kick up another controversy…the entire Lutyens media to pick up the story and run debates on it. Then you expected various Mameluks to write op-ed pieces mocking Smriti Irani. You are disappointed that a straightforward factual response from the Minister has blown the bullshit to bits.

Ouch! Go play your games elsewhere, Suhasini! Don’t mess with Smriti Irani. It is not for nothing that your Shehzada is scampering around with his tail in the air, afraid of this tigress.

This had clearly gone beyond Suhasini Haider’s level. A much more experience Mameluk was needed to spin this situation. Over to the senior pro, Mameluk Parthasarathy… and she delivered a gem:

WHAT? This is a fantastic moment for you to learn, Suhasini! There is a reason Suhasini is a Deputy Editor of The Hindu and Malini is an Editor of The Hindu! THIS is how you learn…what a fantastic moment when a senior pro steps in and shows a floundering junior how to spin a story. Malini nurturing a young recruit with the fruit of her years of experience…how touching.
