Ayodhya : Museum needed to preserve memory of oppressed generations

In Ayodhya, the hallowed ground is now being dug up and readied for construction. After being buried under ‘Ganga Jamuni Tehzeeb’ for five hundred years, India’s real history is speaking up.

For 70 years after independence, a powerful lobby of leftist historians and archaeologists tried to keep a lid on these voices. But they failed. For everyone who believes in justice and truth, it is a moment of triumph.

However, it is important to remember that the victory is not complete simply with the verdict from the Honorable Supreme Court. Victory is not simply in building a grand Ram Temple at Ayodhya.

Real victory lies in establishing a full documented history of what happened to generations of oppressed Hindus in India. For this, the evidence has to be curated, preserved and presented in compact fashion for the whole world to see and remember.

The lobby of leftist historians may have lost this round after 70 years, but they are not done yet. Their much bigger plan was to bury the history of how Hindus were oppressed for hundreds of years. This bigger plan is still very much up and running. That is why they are creating canards accusing the Supreme Court of deciding on sentiments instead of facts. They are trying to relate the victory to the political success of the BJP and its “Hindu nationalism” which they have defamed across the world.

In other words, leftist historians want the world to think that oppression of Hindus never happened.

Undoubtedly, this has parallels with holocaust denial. And as in many other spheres, we can learn from the Jewish people how to effectively counter such propaganda.

The generation of Jewish people that survived the holocaust vowed two things to themselves. First, they would build a great and glorious Jewish nation. Second, they would make sure the world never forgets what happened to them.

Towards the second aim, they made sure every bit of evidence about the holocaust was carefully collected, documented and preserved. That holocaust memorial museums were opened all across Europe. That every generation of school kids would go to these museums and see for themselves what happened. So that the great atrocity against Jewish people would forever prick the conscience of humanity.

They anticipated that holocaust deniers would eventually appear and try to work their propaganda. Public memory is never particularly good. With time, there is a danger of real history getting lost in a battle of narratives. So you have to keep the documented history fresh and real and before the eyes of the public.

In India, we Hindus face a similar threat. A lobby of left wing propagandists works non stop to deny all historical evidence of Hindus being oppressed in this land. They impose on us the fantasy of ‘Ganga Jamuni Tehzeeb.’ Because they know they are lying, they wouldn’t let us dig up the ground in Ayodhya.

The historical evidence is everywhere. But they wont let us talk about it or use the correct words for it.

I’ll explain how it works. If the evidence is buried below the ground, then they will say that your stories about the place being a temple are just legends not worth believing in. But don’t you dare dig. If it is recorded clearly in some text that a temple was destroyed, they will say the real purpose was plunder and not religious imposition. If the record says that the purpose was to crush the idol worshipers, they will ask what about some Hindus who were appointed as officers? If you can actually see the remains of the old temple at the spot, they will say it is a unique style of Indo-Islamic architecture that is part of Ganga Jamuni Tehzeeb!

So how do we defeat the propaganda? We do exactly what the Jewish people did to keep holocaust deniers away. We start collecting, documenting and preserving. We start with a museum alongside the Ram Temple in Ayodhya where the world can see the evidence that was unearthed.

And then we have to scale this up to a global network. We need museums and exhibitions and school trips to learn about Hindus and the terrible oppression they faced. We need a global day of remembrance for what the Hindu people suffered in their own land. In Germany even today, there are traveling railway coaches that go from station to station, reminding people about what happened in the holocaust. The world never forgets because the Jewish people make sure they don’t.

In India, we Hindus face twice as much of a problem. I dare say most Hindus have forgotten as well. First, we have to teach Hindus about what their ancestors faced. Then, we have to tell the world. It is a huge challenge. But a museum in Ayodhya is a good beginning.

  1. All the excavated artifacts and other evidence should be carefully documented, tagged and electronic inventory created so that such evidence does not disappear in thin air. These artifacts should be carefully arranged according to the age of the artifact and displayed along with a proper narrative of how, when and by whom it ended up being destroyed and buried under the ground for so long.

A museum should be established for this purpose which will display all these artifacts along with the narrative so that people coming to have darshan in Ayodhya will lean actual history by visiting the museum. The museum should also document and display the continuous struggle and stories of heroism of common people in making this day possible.

    1. Yes, the UP government should carry out a thorough excavation, put videos on YouTube, invite BBC and CNN to cover this (which they wont but still ). And build our own holocaust museum near the Janmabhoomi

No one in India is going to believe eminent historians from now on as they have been proven to be eminent liars. All the books of these historians should be converted back into paper pulp and recycled to make something useful.

  2. We should a parallel exercise. This should be on thinking and finding the legal ways to delegtimise the left historians.

One way is to question their core competency. An example, an expert on ancient china is required to be an expert in ancient chinese language and script. Same for an expert in Latin / GrecoRoman or ancient Egypt. One need to be familiar with the languages and script thereby proving your competency in comprehending the record in these languages and scripts.

Ancient Indian history sources are in Sanskrit, Pali, Ardha magdhi, tamil languages and the scripts are Brahsmi, Kharoshthi and Tamil.

No record is available in public domain on the competency of our (so called) reputed historians like Romila Thapar, D N Jha and and other members of the infamous gang in these sources. They are completely anadi about our such sources.

They have liberally used (mostly western) scholarly work to construct history of ancient India. So when they rely on translations by western scholars say of Rived, they are not analysing Rigved but the understanding of Rigved by such western scholar. There is a huge qualitative difference between the two.

Two, the Allahabad High court judgement throws very bright sunlight on the level of knowledge and ethics of these expert history witness . That should be taken as a starting point and all those concerned should be issued notices by respective universities (specifically it should be a chargesheet). Since all their actions / expertise has been adversely commented by the High Court and not set aside by the Supreme Court, their PhD’s should be taken back.

Three, it should be made compulsory for any history researcher to attain competency in the languages and scripts of the source material. Existing PhD holders should be asked to attain measurable competency ( by way of proficiency tests / degrees) in the scripts / languages, failing which, their PhD should be derecognised.

This is one way to course correction and can be effective, if people are now made answerable.

” We should initiate a parallel exercise”

  4. The Supreme court during the hearings had called the case presented by the eminent “historians” as mere opinion. As expected their version of history turned out to be purely a fabrication.

Criminal proceedings must be initiated against these historians at the very least for causing loss of lives and property because of their make believe stuff. All university history departments are infested with Leftist historians and should be closed down. All their history is just a story.

The books of Irfan Habib, Romila Thapar and other historians should be moved to the fiction section of the library. We should stop teaching history as a subject in school, the NCERT textbooks are also biased and useless.

  5. A comparison between Jews and Hindus is between apples and oranges in some sense. Jews have almost no Jaichands while Hindus are full of Jaichands. A Leftist Jew (almost an oxymoron) never gives even the slightest impression that he believes the Holocaust did not happen. While Leftists Hindus never give the impression that they believe the suppression of Hindus ever happened. The Leftists Hindus refuse to extrapolate the cruelty showed by today’s’ Muslims against Kaffirs even in today’s civilized world and come up with some ideas that how they (Muslims) must be like towards Kaffirs 6-7 hundred years ago.

    1. Leftist Hindus (actually just Leftists because they dont shown any trace of Hinduism) are bootlickers of the global Jihadis. They never criticize the Jihadis but always criticize Hinduism. The Indian Hindu Leftists are hypocrites and cowards of the first order. Islamist Leftists always side with the Jihadis and the Ummah though.

Leftists are a tumour on the Bharat civilization. Through repeated irradiation at the voting booth, this tumour has been reduced but not completely eliminated. Also this tumour continues in the dark alleys of journalism and history departments. Until those are completely sanitized, the tumour will linger on.

  6. How about a high decibel visibility response from a “non-left, non-liberal, non-secular” organization to buy up all the Left historian books, articles, magazines, and MSM media newspapers and convert them to branded toilet paper?

The brand could be called “Lies for Loos”. Or “Das Lügen”, German for The Lies and a reference to the communist bible.
